The Headspace

“ALL OF THESE WRAPS WERE STOLEN. PLEASE READ. PLEASE SHARE. LETS PUT A STOP TO THIS. Here’s what happened: PLEASE READ PRIOR POST BEFORE READING THIS. At the end of an amazing weekend production put on by Winter Circle Productions called BUKU Music & Art Project this past weekend, as the lights turned on and people were leaving, we were preparing to break down when our employee Randy Bayliss asked if I had already put up the jewelry case, and everybody else that works for The Headspace were right there with him starring at me, so I immediately just ran out of the building and down the alley that everybody has to exit from. I managed through the crowd yelling about what had happened the whole way to the people getting upset that I was shoving through. I made my way to the exit and stood on the guard rail and yelled at the top of my voice to thousands of people that a large case of jewelry had been stolen and to keep an eye out for it. About 30 seconds after I stopped yelling an unidentified girl approached and said a kid was spotted with it, carrying it low to the ground and that she yelled “HEY ASSHOLE WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH THAT!?” and he dropped it. So I ran along the wall to the middle of the alley and yelled out to everybody asking where it was. swarms of voices and fingers pointed and I ran toward it until somebody said Yo the police grabbed it.. I look over behind the barricade and the case it sitting there shattered. I went up to it and there was barely anything in it and the glass had shattered on top. By this time the crowd had thinned and I could see where it shattered in the alley way. I walked up to it, and found 1 ring and 1 small pendant on the ground. The venue manager had come up by this point and the vending coordinator happened to be there. I told them I needed to go back toward the parking lot because hundreds of people saw this kid, but she told me to stay and let the police handle it. My instinct told me fuck that I’ll lose my opportunity to find it, so i made a step to leave and she yelled at me to stay. The police came 15 minutes later, made a report and said that running around in the parking lot wouldn’t help because it’s he said / she said at this point. So.. definitely regretful for not following my instinct, but I’m hoping this is where you guys can come in. Whether or not you were there PLEASE share this post because there is no possible way that it won’t get around to somebody who was if there’s several hundred shares of this post, because then it will turn into thousands of shares, and we’ll get at least some of our jewelry back. There a possibility that when this kid (who wasn’t smart enough to open the case and put the jewelry in his pocket) dropped the case he ran and people in the blowout picked the pieces up on there way out. And lets face it, this wasn’t a String Cheese Incident show, so most likely those kids won’t try to go out of their way to turn it in, and most likely will have no clue what they have, and might sell a $500 piece for $20 to somebody who sells it for $75, who sells it for $100 and so on until eventually somebody who knows what it is gets ahold of it and comes to a show where somebody spots it. IF YOU SPOT IT there should be no violence or harsh words please. Simply tell them what the situation is, and ask for it back, and tell them that they need to work it out with whoever they bought it from, and they need to work it out with who they got it from, and quite possibly it can be re-traced to this asshole. If they won’t give it back, follow them around and call 678.490.4218 and let me know and I’ll talk to them and if I can’t get them to give it back, well.. the next step is up to you. The fact that I was able to get out so far ahead of him means that he grabbed it and ran out this side door by our booth that not too many people knew about that wrapped way around the building. This means that he had spotted the jewelry, and had come up with an exit plan so that he wouldn’t be caught. This kind of bullshit is going to happen more and more if we don’t come together and put an end to this.”

if you claim bnf and don’t share this, there is something wrong with you.
especially if you’ve met that sweetheart Brett, his lady Tay and their boy Isaac.

Never read this quote before, but it’s pretty amazing. One of many reasons why I have such huge respect for Daft Punk.

Yes. I think people understand what we are doing. I know many people who maybe like the way we are handling things. People understand that you don’t need to be on the covers of magazines with your face to make good music. Painters or other artists, you don’t know them but you know what they are doing. We are very happy that the concept in itself is becoming famous. In France, you speak of Daft Punk and I’m sure millions of people have heard it, but less than a few thousand people know our face - which is the thing we’re into. We control it, but it’s not us physically, our persons. We don’t want to run into people who are the same age as us, shaking our hand and saying, ‘Can I have your autograph?’ because we think we’re exactly like them. Even girls, they can fall in love with your music, but not with you. You don’t always have to compromise yourself to be successful. The playing with masks is just to make it funnier. Pictures can be boring. We don’t want all the rock n’ roll poses and attitudes - they are completely stupid and ridiculous today.
